Have Questions?
Frequently Asked
Questions
Will A Retainer Fee Apply To My Case?
What Is A Contingency Fee?
Where Would My Lawsuit Be Filed?
Will My Ex Have To Pay My Attorney Fees?
While there are several ways in which your ex spouse might become responsible for reimbursing your attorney fees, judges generally default to having each spouse responsible for their own fees. Contact Us to learn whether your ex might have to reimburse some or all of your attorney fees.
How Long Before My Injury Claim Is Resolved ?
Unfortunately, the answer is it depends. In most cases, negotiations for settlement of your claim with the at-fault party will not begin until you are mostly healed to ensure you are compensated for all losses you incurred, which can average 3-6 months for soft tissue injuries. Serious injuries often take much longer. Contact Us to speak to an attorney about your specific injuries.
Is There A Time Limit On My Negligence Case?
Yes. Depending on the circumstances of your injury, there is a certain time period that you must file a lawsuit in order to hold a negligent party legally liable to you for injury compensation. We refer to this time period as the “Statute Of Limitations.” Although each state specifies their own deadline, in Georgia, negligence cases must generally be filed within two years of the date you were injured.
